Women's Safety Information

We’re documenting what it’s like to walk home late at night. Women feel threatened, targeted and completely unsafe. The mission of RightRides For Women’s Safety, Inc. is to build safer communities by reducing the risk of harassment and sexual assault. We accomplish this through community organizing, offering direct service programs, plus fostering greater safety awareness and individual empowerment in our related educational programs. In our RightRides program, we offer women, transpeople and gender ***** individuals a free, late-night ride home to ensure their safe commute to or through high-risk areas.

For a service learning project our group decided to make a video that details some information and self defense that will help in an ever continuing response towards women’s safety against sexual assault and rape.
