<div><br/><br/>Weight loss goals must have a plan. Most dieters have an easier time when meals, exercise, daily routines are all planned so you stay on track. A plan can help you eliminate the rough patches like when you are too tired to think about what to eat. Check out these weight loss tips and start losing weight starting today.<br/><br/>Start your morning with a glass of warm lemon water and a fiber supplement. This can curb morning cravings that some of us get, whether those cravings are for muffins, sweet rolls or even that coffee that may be overloaded with fat and sugar. Drink this morning drink as soon as you get up so you start your day on the right path. Make your drink with room temperature or warm water with fresh lemon juice squeezed into it. (Cold water may turn you off in the morning if you live in a cold climate.)<br/><br/>Follow up on your morning routine with a healthy breakfast that contributes to weight loss. Some good breakfast ideas are; two high-omega eggs with steamed greens and tomatoes, yogurt with granola and a piece of fruit or real oat meal &#8211; not instant. Eat a healthy breakfast to keep up your energy and start revving your metabolism. This can make a huge difference in how you feel the rest of the day.<br/><br/>Clear your kitchen of junk foods and other foods that will sabotage your weight loss goals. Having less temptation will help you stay strong during times when most of us falter. This is usually in the evening while watching television or any time you are fatigued. Keep only healthy foods and snacks on hand. If you need help, keep foods to replace your favorite snack foods; baked chips instead of regular, low-calorie sweets made for diets or even dates, fruits or more wholesome, natural snacks.<br/><br/>Exercise first thing in the morning. It is proven that making this habit is easier to keep than exercising later in the day. This is because often, when we have time to think about it, we may put off exercise thinking we will do it later. But this often leads to tomorrow and other procrastination habits. Get a treadmill, exercise bike or even a ten minute exercise routine on DVD and make up your mind to do it every day. You may be surprised how easily this habit can form.<br/><br/>Plan your meals ahead of time. This will help you to stay on track and not decide to take the easy way out when you are too tired to think about it. Cook and package portions ahead of time, prepare vegetables so you can grab and steam or turn into a salad, and even write out your meals for the week, if that helps you. If you write it out, keep a copy on your refrigerator so you see it as a reminder to stick to it. This can help you reach your weight loss goals easier.<br/><br/>Weight loss is not easy. If it were, nobody would be overweight. Having a plan can make it a little easier to reach your goals, get healthy and get in shape. First things first, you need &#8220;bridge foods&#8221;<br/><br/>Bridge foods are foods that bridge your bad dietary habits into good dietary habits without you having to make radical diet changes. Bridge foods include black beans, lentils, and blackeyed peas.<br/><br/>These foods are cheap, high in protein, and high in fiber.<br/><br/>This is important since protein speeds up your metabolism and the fiber helps to clean out your digestive tract. Together, it&#8217;s a powerful duo. For instance, a 50 cent can of black beans has 25 grams of fiber and 25 grams of protein. That takes care of your fiber for the day.<br/><br/>I suggest you eat a 1/2 can of black beans with your breakfast and another 1/2 can with your lunch. Just get in a full can each day.<br/><br/>The fiber helps allow you to eat less for the rest of the day&#8230; so the earlier you get the fiber in during the day, the better. Note: I prefer black beans the most out of those 3 &#8220;bridge foods&#8221; because they take less than 5 minutes to cook.<br/><br/>Lentils has an even better nutritional profile, but they take upwards of 30 minutes to cook. I cook lentils in big batches.<br/><br/>2. Stick with proteins with all meals<br/><br/>Again, protein speeds up your metabolism. So with each meal, make sure you have a good bit of it. Chicken breasts, tuna, black beans, lean meats, fish, etc.<br/><br/>3. Apples as the perfect snack<br/><br/>Apples are in my opinion the perfect snack. They have a lot of water content in them and relatively high in fiber. Plus they&#8217;re easy to take with you. If you can, eat 3 a day as snacks. This simple tip alone will net you 2 pounds lost a month for the next 3 months.<br/><br/>Now, this diet is more like an outline for you to use as a guide.
