… Not the other way around. I always hear people saying stuff like, It’s wrong to hit a woman, even in self-defense … you shouldn’t square up to a woman as though she were a man … that’s not how you speak to a lady … etc.
Why the special treatment? I agree that it’s wrong to go off on a person and beat them, regardless of their size. Conflicts should be resolved through words and nothing more. But the way I see it, if you walk up to a bear, kick it in the *** and expect that it won’t retaliate simply because you’re smaller, you’re in for quite the surprise, aren’t you? Shouldn’t women respect men because they’re bigger and stronger, as opposed to men respecting women for being less powerful physically?
Also, since when did having a ****** have anything to do with the way a another human being should speak to you? Why is it wrong for a man to speak to a woman in a certain way? Since when do words hurt more coming from a man lmao?

Should this be socially accepted…in self defense? Also I’m not familiar on this cultural aspect, but do are women encouraged to hit back if the man strikes first? I want a serious answer.

On tv shows like CSI, Law Order, etc, the victims are USUALLY women. and i live in a college town, and on the news they were saying how there is a special bus schedule for only women at night. and most self defense classes are aimed toward women. but today, someone told me that men get murdered more. but idk. i tried googling it, but nothing came up with recent stats. does anyone know any info on this?
