Simple weight loss tips to help kick off your program will go a long way to success. Following a program is important, but getting started ASAP is advisable. Below, we will share 7 tips that have used by millions successfully to help them gradually get into their relative program, regardless of the program.

Tip #1: Realistic Weight Loss Goals

First step, set a realistic goal. The quickest way to bloat back up is to set an unrealistic goal before your program even starts. To help set your goals, ask yourself a couple simple questions, such as… “What is the overall goal of this weight loss program?” and “What amount of weight do you want to lose overall, in a month, in a week?” Just remember, that baby steps is important and that every small goal you reach, is a step to your ultimate goal. Recognizing this will help you set realistic goals from the beginning.

Tip # 2: Be Prepared

Get ready, get set, slow down. Before you set out to the grocery store or fitness center, it is smart to prepare for your journey. Start closer to home by getting rid of junk food, colas, those puddings you love. Depending on the program you will follow, there will be some sort of diet to follow. Some programs may be detailed to the point of providing a grocery list, others simple guidelines.

Tip # 3: Reward Yourself

Every once in awhile, give yourself a pat on the back and reward yourself. Be smart and setup a reward system before hand. This may be a treat, or could be a new pair of running shoes, a running watch, etc.

Tip # 4: Start With A Good Weight Loss Breakfast

Many, many people skip this meal daily. Skipping your breakfasts can be lethal to your program; it is programming your brain to think you are running on severe empty and encourages you to gorge. You start to feel groggy and next thing you know, you are binging. This will just can your weight loss program.

Tip # 5: Exercise for Weight Loss

Exercising is very important to your overall goal. Exercise will boost your rate of weight loss and provide long lasting effects. This needs to become routine…remember, you must do something for 30 days for it to become routine. This exercising could be setting times for simple walks in the neighborhood.

Tip # 6: Get More Sleep

Sleep is very important. Did you know that the average person, regardless of level of health, requires eight hours of sleep per night. Starting a ritual to going to bed at a decent time and getting the needed eight hours is very important and crucial to your success.

Tip # 7: Take time To Relax

Relaxing is important as sleep, but it does not mean a nap in the afternoon. This is a time for mediation and affirmation…positive thinking, etc. Seeing yourself at your goal weight will really get you through to your ultimate goal.

Following these simple tips will help you start off on the right foot to achieving your weigh loss program goals. Remember to FOLLOW the plan and be consistent.

Often, we want immediate results, however, it is more important to observe a regimen designed for Healthy Weight Loss.

Can fast weight loss tips work if the health industry says the only way to lose weight is through diet and exercise? Are they convinced there is no other way or helpful little insights that can accelerate our efforts in getting rid of that excess fat?

It’s because diet and exercise are profitable for them and they all claim that they have the best weight loss program as they are benefiting from it financially whether it works or not! They don’t want to give you free weight loss resources and fast weight loss tips that don’t involve diet and exercise as these are often free and overlooked by many people.

It’s time to go against the masses and use fast weight loss tips that not many people would know about. Think for a moment of how many people just diet and exercise and get no real results? I’m not saying you can just use other resources to lose weight without diet and exercise, but what I am saying is that you can add additional little things to speed the whole process up!

Take my cousin Lucy who is one of my weight loss success stories. She had great success with following quality diet programs and exercising regularly. Before this, she had always struggled with her weight from her teenage years and always ridiculed because of it. She avoided places and going out due to the embarrassment her weight would cause her and the looks she felt people were giving her. The slightest of tasks would leave her needing to catch her breath. Until one day she decided enough was enough, and decided to take action!

When I asked what she attributed to be the number one thing that helped her achieve lose all the weight, believe it or not she told me it wasn’t diet or exercise. It was the fast weight loss tips that she had picked up along the way through her life changing journey.

I have one of her fast weight loss tips just for you that you can start using immediately for yourself. It is something you’re mother always told you to do, but for some reason or another, you don’t do it as well as you should. So what is this great tip?

CHEW YOUR FOOD!

Can it be this simple? Let me explain. You should chew your food at least 30-45 times with each bite. Try doing this over the period of a week to start with. Just think about this for a second. If you stay disciplined in doing so, you will get so sick of eating because chewing food can get boring! Over eating has become a habit for comforting you. And the crazy thing is you want comfort from the feelings of being overweight, so you eat more! It’s a vicious, no win cycle that needs breaking.

So what you need to do is train yourself that you don’t like to eat because it is boring and takes too much time. As a result, you won’t eat as much and you know what less unnecessary food intake leads to. Fat loss! Like I said, it takes discipline to stick to it, especially in the early stages. Chew your food more times to make it seem like a chore rather than a pleasurable, comforting activity.

Eating slowly also give your stomach time to communicate that it is full. When you eat quickly, you fill your stomach so fast that it doesn’t have time to tell you that it is full. It is too busy trying to keep up with the intake of food coming in!

Losing weight is serious business. It can take effort to lose weight or you can vow to enjoy the journey. Making weight loss a fun and enjoyable activity may help you to take the weight off steadily and permanently. Making weight loss a chore and dreading it will just make your brain resist the entire process. Make sure you understand that weight loss is a great thing to do for yourself if you have excess fat you need to lose.

Make sure you understand the mathematics of your weight. Make sure you know how many calories you need to maintain your current weight. Then find out how many calories you need to maintain the weight you want to be in the future. Simply eat the amount of calories you want to weigh in the future. It’s that simple. Weight loss does not have to be any more complicated than that.

Remember to eat plenty of vegetables and some fruit instead of junk food. This will give you great nutrition and soon your taste buds will change to desire these foods instead of the garbage most of us have been eating.

Exercise a little more than you have in the past, nothing crazy because you can lose weight without excessive exercise. Perhaps a 15-20 minute walk a day is something you can do. Soon this will become easy and you will look forward to your walk. If you can only walk 5 minutes at first that’s ok too. Walking is a great way to increase your vitamin D levels with a few minutes of sun exposure.

Many women as well as a surprising number of men do not know the basics of vehicle maintenance therefore fear being taken advantage of when they have a vehicle problem. The reason I stated “a surprising number of men” is because we tend to think men know about vehicles just based on gender. But with our lives becoming so busy and full, many men don’t have the time or desire or necessity of working on their own vehicles.

Good Shop, Bad Shop

There are a lot of reputable repair shops out there but the bad or unethical ones, introduced to us by news cameras or friends who paid too much for repairs, are the ones that stick in our minds inspiring fear.

The reason an unethical repair shop might rip someone off is that, they know we are dependent upon our vehicles and do whatever is necessary to get fix them. Whatever is necessary may differ drastically between shops.

Empower Yourself With Vehicle Basics

As the daughter of a military airplane mechanic and vehicle mechanic, I want the same empowerment of vehicle knowledge for all women that I’ve been blessed with since I was a little girl.

In this article, you will learn simple, basic steps you can take to not only maintain your vehicle but gain knowledge to give repair shops a heads up that you are not the person to take advantage of. You will also have an opportunity to receive one of my most popular documents to help you further. Sound good? Read on…we’ll take a short journey through what was formerly known as “man land” and make ourselves safer in the process.

You Might Be Asking…Question: How often does my vehicle need to be checked out?

Answer: At least twice per year (exceptions below) and Spring and Fall are great reminders; before extreme heat or cold.

Question: What is the best way to keep my vehicle healthy?

Answer: Learn the basics of what your healthy vehicle should look like so that you can provide health care instead of sick care.

Here are some examples:

tires should be properly inflated (monthly or more often and if vehicle pulls left or right while driving) spare tire should be present, in good condition and properly inflated (your life may depend on it) oil and filter should be changed every 3,000 – 5,000 miles depending on your vehicle model radiator coolant should be present and accounted for, proper level windshield wiper blades should wipe cleanly, may need replacement annually wiper fluid for severe weather or bug season head lights, tail lights, brake lights, turn signals should all work well brakes should be in good condition and quiet brake fluid at proper level transmission fluid present and accounted for at correct level all belts should be in excellent condition and replaced immediately when worn or dry watch for leaks or weird smells
Question: Where should I take my vehicle for these checks?

Answer: Great question! Ask around for referrals, check out reviews online and look before you need something done. If you go to a reputable lube and oil shop for an oil change, they should check tire pressure and condition among other things. Since they do not sell tires, they have no commission incentive to be dishonest. They can check other things too like belts and fluids. You may need to ask and possibly pay a little extra. It is probably worth it. Of course, if your vehicle is under warranty, you can go to the dealership for serious issues (they will probably wash and vacuum it before giving it back but sometimes charge a lot more for simple oil changes, etc.).

You might even look up a high school mechanics shop and arrange for a student to check the simple things, or a friend who can check tires, fluids and simple stuff on the side (at your own risk). I’ve checked many a girlfriend’s vehicle myself and replaced headlights, turn signal bulbs, etc. As the daughter of a mechanic, auto parts super stores are like Disneyland to me! (Don’t tell anyone else that, okay?) Fact: It is truly possible to be a girly girl and still know enough about vehicles to keep you out of avoidable trouble.

Trust Your Gut Feelings

I have to mention this because it is the key to unlock your safer future. (Read my other articles on Women’s Personal Safety Secrets) Remember to trust your gut feelings! If you get the “creeps” in a mechanic’s shop, leave like a tree. If it feels wrong it’s wrong, period! That is why it is good to find someone you trust before you are in a desperate situation.

So, how does it feel to know more about your car, truck, van or SUV? Of course, these are just some basics but that may be all you need. Check out the bonus I created with my dad in the paragraph below. And congratulations, you are now safer and know more about vehicles than many men and most women.
