If we didn’t have to pay the taxes for those programs we would easily be able to afford our own retirement by the time we got to retirement age.

I would rather be in charge of investing my own money, instead of having a babysitter do it for me.

Social Security ≠ Government Spending

I don’t know about your grandma or great aunt, but my grand mother pays for her own retirement living from her life savings and as for social security, that’s HER OWN money that was kept from HER own paychecks each month for when she’s old. It’s not ANYONE else’s money, I assure you. Please speak for your own relatives.

Young people who work full time are penalized by being forced to pay into social security with little chance of ever receiving from it.

You realize your second statement makes a very strong argument for privatizing part of Social Security, right?

And I am ok with people collecting what they have put in.

But when the left starts talking about the rich paying their fair share of Social Security taxes to save the system, while at the same time tossing around ideas about means-testing benefits – preventing many of those same rich from ever collecting – then you are transforming the system from a defined benefit program into nothing more than WELFARE. Period.

Yes, I know that my family has put a lot of money into the system and that’s why I’m pissed off. I’m tired of seeing it go to support illegals and give them services that an American family has to fight for when they’re struck by unexpected trouble. I’m tired of seeing hard workers pay for lazy broads to sit on their asses, pumping out one kid after another, all of whom will grow up to live on welfare cuz that’s what it’s there for.

It’s not just white Americans who pay into the system. It’s every legal citizen who tries to support their own family who bears the brunt of it.

Government spending covers a wide area of disbursement. Only a percentage of it is geared towards welfare and Social Security. If whites receive more of these funds, which is possible, it is because of majority demographics related to the ethnic and racial makeup of the country. Regardless of where the money is being spent, I still do not support out of control government spending. As for health care. The government does not pay for my health care. The government also does not pay 100% of Medicare expenses. Your position is weak.

not getting most of the perks from government. Look at all the
single mothers, unemployment (that’s not Seniors), free lunches,
free breakfasts for the poor in schools, clothing hand-outs, free
meals in jails and prisons, soup kitchens, and especially
welfare; and more other perks
than I can write in this space. Government does NOT pay for
nursing home care. You pay yourself unless you have purchased
insurance in case you would need to live there. Those who do
use Medicaid for ending life living, have donated everything else
they have ever owned to government BEFORE any Medicaid
kicks in. Social Security is not like a job salary. It barely pays
for the light and water bill. Besides, each person pays
into that out of their job salaries for retirement, so it’s
actually their own money that has been withheld by the
government for retirement purpose. That program is said to run out in a
couple of years. White’s are not singled out in getting upset
with government spending, by the way.

You used the word whites. Are you saying that race should be the consideration when the government steals your money by force? In other words, it seems you are suggesting race is the main consideration. That would make you a WHAT?
Government spending is out of control and being wasted, by the minute, at a staggering rate that Americans will soon be unable to bear. Your assumption that it’s OK if the money is only spent on whites is a ****** comment and regardless of race…. All Americans should be terribly concerned with the way our government is wasting our money regardless of race.

It has nothing to do with color. Money does not recognize color. Your last statement is true but that is not our fault that they don’t take enough out. We pay into it so when it is time we are allowed to draw out of it.

Please state your source that most of our spending is going toward elderly white people. Are you saying that black people are not receiving Social Security and Medicare?

If the government would get out of my pockets, I could easily save enough of my own money for my retirement.

Very few people would begrude someone who is incapable of taking care of themselves the help they need. However, it’s when able-bodied people sit on their ***** all day and demand my money for their own apartment complete with cable TV, air conditioning, video games, and other luxuries that I couldn’t always afford that I start to get angry.

The amount being spent on welfare leeches can not be compared to what we spend on those who are honestly unable to care for themselves or those who have paid into a system and are just now getting back some of their investment. (That’s Social Security.)

First, the social security program does not discriminate in favor of whites. All races receive benefits on equal terms. If whites receive more total benefits, it is only because whites are the largest minority group in this country or because they have paid more into the system. Payments from social security are based upon payments into that system.

Second, social security is not part of government spending. Social security receives and disburses its funds indepently of the Federal Government.

Third, most whites are upset about spending other than social security. If you examine Obama’s multi-trillion dollar stimulus bill, none of it is for social security. And, since white people pay more in taxes than anyone else, they are right to be concerned if their money is being wasted.
